Today, Marvel unleashes the final chapter of Daredevil: Cold Day in Hell, and it’s a chilling, devastating climax that brings Daredevil deeper into the abyss than ever before. Crafted by the powerhouse duo Charles Soule (story and dialogue) and Steve McNiven (pencils, inking, and cover art), this issue completes a prestige limited series that redefined what the Man Without Fear can endure.
The visuals are heightened further by Dean White’s moody, torrid colors and Clayton Cowles’ subtle, haunting lettering, each element layered to amplify the bleak future unspooling on the page.
In Cold Day in Hell #3, Hell’s Kitchen goes dark literally and figuratively. An older, nearly powerless Matt Murdock has grappled with his failures and limitations through ice and agony now, with edge-of-your-seat tension and merciless confrontations, he must decide how far he’ll go when everything burns around him.
